How much does a website cost?: It does all depend on the type of website you want but to give you an idea in cost a 3 to 5 page brochure website used to put your contact details and mission statement with some images and a logo online will cost £300.00. How long will it take?: Normally a basic brochure website will take up to 2 weeks to complete and go live, this does all depend on any changes you may want to make to the design etc. A more complex ecommerce based website can take up to 4 weeks to complete and go live.
What is a domain name?: A domain name or URL is the www 'dot' your name 'dot' com, the price for a domain depends on the type (.com .co.uk) and the term. A .co.uk for 2 years will cost approximately £10.00 - the minimum term is 2 years. To check if your desired domain name is available click here.

After registering a domain you then need to point the domain at the web server of where your website is saved. We can do this for you. This service all comes free with one of our website packages, click here for more information on our packages.
What does hosting mean?: When we refer to hosting we mean website hosting. Websites are saved or stored on a web server, a web server is like a large powerful computer, the website pages and directories (folders) are saved to the web server in a similar way you would save a document on your PC.

When someone types in your website address; www.yourwebsite.com the website is served from the web server. Web servers have to be very powerful to handle hundred’s even millions of visitors at the same time.
UK based servers: It also makes sense that the web server is located in this country as some cheaper hosting companies servers are in Europe or even the US. This isn’t a huge problem unless you’re hoping to attract the natural traffic from the search engines like Google. If you make a search on Google in the UK for something Google will normally show UK based websites. Why would it show a website that’s based in the US for searches made in the UK. Our servers are all UK based servers.
How can I pay?: We will invoice you on completion of the work carried out. Upon receipt of invoice we expect payment by return. We accept all major credit cards, cheque, BACS, cash, PayPal or postal orders. Please note that extra charges will apply to credit cards and PayPal.
